A Story About An Interview
It was a simple interview which happened last Friday and drove me almost crazy. I was required to ask people five questions about risk taking.
As soon as I was told to start, I went to the university to find a target who looked easier to talk with. Suddenly, a teenager with a blue shirt and a black hat appeared. Then I walked towards him slowly and thought what to say next, "Hello, I am a student of the Language Centre and I am doing a survey about risk taking. Can I ask you a few questions?"
"Sure, of course," was the answer.
"Would you ever buy a second-hand car or bike online?"
"Maybe, but I would be careful."
"And how often do you buy clothes online?"
"Well, I don't usually buy clothes online," he said thoughtfully.
"Have you ever cheated in an exam? Yes or No?" I felt a little bit nervous and wanted to finish this conversation as soon as possible.
"Yes, I have, I remember that was a ..."
"And have you ever done something dramatically different to your piercing?"
"No, I'm afraid not."
"Last question is do you thing you would go out with someone who was 10 years older or younger than you?" I asked carefully.
"Well, um, probably not."
"Excellent! Thanks very much!" I said.
Time went really fast and forty minutes later, I had just interviewed three different people. At the same time, I also learned the importance of teamwork. I believe next time I can do it better with a partner.
Teamwork is very important!!! I think so too. It will help our life in many situation (-:
