Christmas holiday.

I went back to China on the Christmas holiday. First few days, I got a big party with my friends, they are also my high school classmates, so we are really be on good terms to each other. But most of them are working now, so they did not have too much time to hang out with me.After that I met my younger cousins, and have a big meal together in my home. last few days, I was just staying with my parents and my dog. we almost went to suburb to  have a walk and watch TV together every day. My mother told me my grand mother was gone half year ago, and they did not tell me about that, because they know I could not do any thing in New Zealand. That was my holiday, some exciting and some sadness.

How was my holiday?

                A few weeks ago, I did not go other places or other cities. I preferred to stay at my home but i sometimes went to downtown. Afterward I bought some foods and brought them back to my homestay for eat next day. Second weeks of holiday, I had a chance to travel around Dunedin with my two friends because he had been driving a car to travel then we had gone to Otago Penneisula around 8.00pm to 10.00pm. Three days later, we had gone to Thunder Beach. It was a fantastic view and high hill. We had climbed down from hill to beach and climbed up from beach to hill around two kilometers and we spent time on that place around one hour and half. In addition, if you want to go this place, I recommend that you should not go there because It was terrible place but it was a worth place to go there before you go back to your country. In Christmas Day, I had party with my host’s family. It was a great time for me that I had never seen them before and celebrated at dinner time together. I was really enjoyed with them and thankful a lot. Eventually, I had one day in 31^st December 2015, I had been to downtown around 11pm then I enjoyed to drink alcohol with my friends and waited to countdown before 12 O’clock in that day. There were a lot of people come to countdown together. That was a great time as well.  

Christmas holidays

I feel my Christmas holidays has a little boring, because I didn’t go anywhere, I just stay my house watch some movies and study IELTS. But in my holidays have one thing I think had more interesting.

Nana went to my flat and we make dumplings together, make dumplings it’s very difficult, fortunately, my flatmate is a chef, I invited him to help us made dumplings, we made about 3 hours. Finally we completed these dumplings, it really fantastic, Nana and I are very like. That is she first ate dumplings, she feels very exciting.

In Christmas evening, I heard about had concert in Octagon. I went to here about 9 o’clock, the concert very excellent. So many bands came to here and sang a lot of songs. But unfortunately, I came back my flat at 11pm, because I felt it’s too late.

Overall, I think my Christmas holidays not too bad.

My Summer holiday

This was the second time I have been in New Zealand for Christmas and New Year holidays. I feel this holiday was quite good and useful.

At the beginning of the holiday, I spent my time with my uncle in Queenstown. I helped him to do some house works because he has moved to his new house. Furthermore, I went for walks with my uncle in the Queenstown garden. I felt it gave me a good relaxation because Queenstown garden is located near to the Wakatipu Lake. On the Christmas day, we had nice dinner party in my uncles’ one of his friends home. The same day night, we had amazing party with full of songs and dances and I bumped into some new friends as well.

After the New Year, I made some Florentine with one of my uncles’ friends. I think it was very good opportunity to learn some cooking and spend the time with kiwis. Not only that, I spent the time at my uncles’ gallery by learning how to work at the gallery but also I read some books as well.

Before the New Year dawn, we did some fireworks and after the New Year I spent my time at home. I think I had a good holiday at Queenstown.

Holiday..

My holiday was not so bad. I spent my time with my friends and my husband <3. In new year's eve I had so much fun by celebrating and watching fireworks in the Octagon. I also watched three new movies at the cinema, which are Daddy's home, Sisters and The revenant, these films were really interesting.

2016 new year holiday is a amazing period for me. I arrived at New Zealand  first time in my life on 31st of December 2015. Everything is a new experience to me. I can see the blue sky and brilliant sunshine, because in china the air pollution is very heavy. sometimes we cannot see something which is far away from just 20 meters. However, in New Zealand people can breath the fresh air and do lots of outdoor activities. On 1st of January I went to some tourist attractions in Auckland such as one tree hill,glowworm caves and so on. When i climbed up on the top of one tree hill, I can see the view of the whole Auckland, which is the harbor of the Auckland ,the residential areas and  lots of city gardens with the blue sky and little wind. Another famous tourist attraction is glowworm caves which thousands of glowworms live in the caves for almost thousand years. One glowworm has a little light, but the cave be lighted by the thousands of little glowworm. That`s amazing. It is so gorgeous that make me shock.  This holiday is a excellent experience.

My Holidays

I travelled in Te Ana-au with Sayako and Satoka for three days and two nights. We took about four hours by bus from the Dunedin.

We arrived at Te Ana-au and participated in a glow-worm tour immediately. At first, we listened to the explanation of glow-worm. The imago of it did not have roundness like a Japanese firefly, and it looked like mosquito. We entered a cave of this creature. Water flowed through there and was chilly very much. It was first time for me to explore in a cave. The light of glow-worms was blue, so it was the feeling that totally watched starlit sky.

Next day, we went to Milford Sound by boat. This place is World heritage site in New Zealand. Our boat accessed the waterfall which flowed from the gap of the mountain. Also, we discovered some wild sea lions.

I was able to sense New Zealand nature bodily in these three days. We were satisfied with this trip.

My holiday

My holiday was so lovely. I didn’t do anything special, but I could spent a great time with my host family and friends.  I also could call my Japanese parents many times.

  First, I met friends in town. We went to lunch, shopping, and the beach. I like the beach because when I go to the beach and sit down there, I feel relaxed. I also took a lot of pictures.

  Second, I made dumplings with Clarence and his roommate. They are Chinese, so they are good at making it. I did it for the first time. But I like cooking, so I enjoyed making. As we were taking a lot, we making. I was glad to enjoy the real taste of dumplings (-:

  Third, I went to the airport to see many Japanese friends off. My lovely friends left Dunedin. I already miss them, but I shouldn’t be sad because we can meet again in Japan. I always think time goes too quickly. I thought that I’m pleased to see them in language centre.

  Especially, I enjoyed on Christmas Day. I had a Christmas party with my host family. My host mother prepared a lot of delicious meal. They were so gorgeous. I also got many presents from family. I thought that Christmas party in NZ is bigger in Japanese.

   The last day, I went out with my good friend. I spent a lot of time with him. He always encourages me. We usually talk about friends, English, and so on.

   This holiday, thanks to friends and family, I could make a lot of precious memories.
