Last Friday
I did a survey about job interview on George St with Eric. Though the weather
was not very good, we had a special experience.
What we need
to do is to find people on the street and ask them some simple questions about
job then record the choices they make. That is really difficult because they are
all strange people and we are supposed to ask them in English. Eventually we
asked four people. Here are the answers.
First question
is what they think is the most important thing in a work. There are four
options: working time, working environment, holiday and salary. Half of them
chose working environment and half chose salary. Then we asked them if they had
any secret to interviewing well. Three of them answered no secret while another
girl suggested me to get information first. Next question is “what is the best way
to prepare for an interview”. Two people chose good mood and the other two guys
chose information and attitude respectively. “Which do you think is the worst
thing to do in an interview?” we asked. Two guys chose bad haircut or dress and
others chose “be late” and “be too nervous to answer questions”. At the last of
the interview, we showed them four strange questions and let them choose which the
most difficult question is. Two of them chose “If you were a car, what car would
you be” and others chose “who do you admire most, why”.
I think …
Not very bad....
ReplyDeleteasking people in public places is a great thing that will help you to improve your English speaking, also it will make you feel more confidence next time when you do another survey
